My I 140 approved under Eb3 if i want to change my job and my employer is willing to do in EB2 can I use my old PD from I140 EB3 ?

Guys, Assuming that everyone from July Filers group went through FP for AOS once at that time, do they need to go again to get the AOS approved now? My question is ppl who r being approved these days and if they r july filers, did they go for 2nd FP? Can uscis use FP of EAD in 485 ?

Every with the opening up of priority dates, I would say that only a small minority will get a green card anytime soon!
Back to work for us, the brief vacation was nice :)
Don't forget, CIR took out most of the AC21 provisions...

I have changed from h1 to f1 in 2002, but did not apply through the mail in status change process, just took my I20 and got it stamped in a Consulate outside US (Mexico in my case).
So not sure, how the mail in status change would affect you if you directly show up in a US Consulate. It is probably best to ask a Lawyer.

All,
Just Received a copy of my ETA 7089 from my HR. I learned that my Labor Cert may not have been properly filed.
The experience column
H6 - Is experience required in the job offered required for the JOB?
is NO
H14 - Specific Skills or other requirements says:
Qualifications include:
1) Five years of experience in Web Development ... and so on
H14 and H6 Contradict themselves...
My HR is dumb and the attorney had made mistakes for simple H1b filings in the past..
Any help/suggestions will be appreciated!

My wife's finger printing fee was rejected last month even though we sent the correct fee. We sent the fee again.
But in the mean while, we also recieved our finger printing notices. Does anyone know as when we would get our EADs ?

On July 2, 2008, a US Federal District Court in California entered an order requiring that the USCIS pay Mr. Asghar Shirmohamadali, the plaintiff in a Writ of Mandamus (WOM) law suit against the USCIS, around $25,500 in attorney fees and $1,000 in other costs incurred during the suit. In addition, the Court had previously ordered the USCIS to adjudicate Shirmohamadali�s pending I-485 case within 30 days.

Processing of 140 applications in NSC now takes 9 to 12 months . The movement of dates only will make things worse for processing of all the applications.
Hope it does not take more than a year for AP and EAD ...

question of Traveling without receipt but with valid H1 , has not been clearly addressed in the FAQ.
